Our selection of moldable Pirate, Musketeer, Swashbuckler, Pimpin Pirate plush hats is by the world famous hat company Elope. They have had lots of fun designing these. There is an exterior feather slot, and just for the heck of it, there is a hidden treasure pocket with a fortune inside (let me know if they're still doing that, I haven't opened the hat bags since our samples). They will fit just about any average adult head, including ladies, as it is of wired plush fabric and not stiff felt, and has some sort of size adjustment inside. The Plush hats have Velcro, the Distressed hat Drawstrings. With wired edges for shaping, you can form the plushes into bi-corns or Barbosas or Musketeers if you so choose. The Distressed Hats have tacked corners so they can only be tricorns. Easy to pack flat for eventing, easy to re-shape if pillaged on by a drunk pirate. These are a terrific alternative to a totally lame costume company hat, this is so much more authentic, yet not nearly as expensive as a stiff, formed felt hat that starts denting the moment you start using it. Totally pimpin colors of ostrich plumes are offered separately.
For extra big heads, we've found that the Distressed Hat fits up to about a 24" head, the plush, up to about 23".
Our Cotton and leather do-rags are pre-head-formed and tie in back. Cotton ones have great graphics.
