The Lady Pirate was first introduced in gauze.  It sold out.  So we tried it in Satin Jacquard.  It sold out.  Since messing with perfection is my personal favorite thing to do, we redesigned it with a more ornamental neckline, laces instead of buttons, ruffled sleeves instead of plain, and voile!  the new Lady Pirate Jacket emerges out of Rayon Crushed Velvet.  There is about a 6 inch range for each size, so you can't make a mistake ordering.  Tie it in back, unlace it and put it on over your head, then re-lace.  fits tight like a bodice, but you can wear it with a modern bra.  heck, a Wonderbra would look wonderful.  I know what century we're in!
