Everywhere we looked we found great treasure chests but in miniature. We'd break out the tape measure and realize that they were only the size of a vanity jewelry box. So we asked the manufacturer to make one just for us that would be large and impressive, nicely detailed, but ship-able. Our indian rosewood chest has rustic finish, hand hammered iron accents and studs and latch on the front in case you need to lock up your treasure! Insides are hand rubbed. Measures a whopping 12 inches long by 8.5 inches deep by 8 inches tall and weighs 7lbs unboxed. Quite impressive!
