The new version of the Privateer Shirt.  For the serious re-enactor, piratical performer, or anyone who wants a historically accurate looking fabric with heavy duty wash and wear appeal. The Pro Series line is US grown Pima Cotton that is then hand woven in Ecuador on virgin looms (no synthetics ever touch loom). The weave is thick and tactile and has a marvelous hand hewn look and feel. It will stand up to just about any wear you can dish out (aside from battle wounds). Pre-shrunk too. Built with room to spare, these run a full size large. I repeat, A FULL SIZE LARGE.  This version featues a banded collar, laces part way down, no front placket, smooth front, stitched back placket.  Both a 2 button and 2 lacing cuff.  Early period would cut off the buttons and only use the lacings, those who don't care, buttons are easier.
