The latest:  All over the world, including Ecuador, raw cotton has flown up 18% in cost.  To compound that, Ecuador used to enjoy a much smaller tariff rate than other countries, for being a partner with USA in the fight against drugs.  They have just lost that standing, and import tariffs from Ecuador have jumped from a miniscule token amount to 23%!  That adds almost a 3rd to the cost of an item if you include the amount of freight from South America.  All of my Pro-Series suppliers are scrambling to stay afloat in the face of these major hikes in cost.  I am doing my best to keep stock of these items but please have patience during this difficult time.

For the serious re-enactor, piratical performer, or anyone who wants a historically accurate looking fabric with heavy duty wash and wear appeal. At long last we have what you want and more! The Pro Series! US grown Pima Cotton is then hand woven in Ecuador on virgin looms (no synthetics). The weave is thick and tactile and has a marvelous hand hewn look and feel. It will stand up to just about any wear you can dish out (aside from battle wounds). Pre-shrunk too. Waist adjusts in a traditional manner with lacing in the back of the waistband. These are fuller and longer than the breeches with wider band at the bottom.   Available in a 19th century whaler's button cod or a more 18th century accurate tie cod.  Single pocket.  Black only.
