If you think that bloomers are pointless under a long wench skirt, try wearing one on a hot day and see the difference with a little lightweight cotton between your thighs.  Then tuck your skirts up and let your bloomers show for a fun and flirty look.  Super adorable by themselves with a sexy cami top or peasant blouse and a cincher, corset or bodice.  We've also seen them under a mini skirt for a somewhat Vaudeville Costume effect (think of a Victorian Tightrope walker with her Parasol).

Elastic waist is super stretchy and comforable.  It's built a bit long-waisted (if you're short, just roll the waistband down.  If you're tall and trying to wear under a cincher, you'll thank me later).  It comes to just above the knee and uses a ribbon drawstring with lacey flounce that comes to just under the knee.  Above the knee drawstring means that you can easily lift your legs and bend your knees without the narrow closure popping up and down your knee or stopping your leg from lifting or the back of your butt coming down.  Very clever.  Built roomy so that sizes are super easy to fit and have lots of breathing room.  These are 100% cotton with drawstring of ribbon and added lace, so consider a cold and gentle wash with lay flat to dry.
