The historically accurate version of the Peasant Blouse is the 100% cotton Full Length Chemise. From Medieval Times through Renaissance, 18th Century and into the 19th Century, this was both nightgown, underclothes and even bathing accessory for ladies. One would sleep, bathe and dress over the chemise without removing it for weeks at a time. This version has a drawstring neckline, very full sleeves that finish in elasticized cuffs, and like it's predecessors, nearly ankle length, to be the first layer of underskirt. White Only. One size fits all up to 2X. Because of this, smaller women will notice the wrist cuffs may need adjustment to the elastic to be tighter. Bust has 66 inches of material, and is 55 inches long from shoulder.
