Charming lace parasol is traditionally smaller in diameter than an umbrella to give it delicacy.  It is just enough lace to diffuse the sun, and frame the lovely face of the gentlewoman who carries it.  Wooden handle, and the little plastic caps that fit the spine can easily slip right back on if they ever come off, which we find they sometimes do after shipping.
